Let's imagine that you are standing in front of a marvelous scenery, let's say a mountain landscape. You may want that image to sit in front of you all the time, on the desktop or as a screensaver, to recall those moments. You could simply take a picture of the scenery, but this will only cover a small portion of it. A much better idea would be creating a panorama of it. Most modern digital cameras have a panorama feature, that helps you take photos from left to right. The problem is viewing them, giving the impression of a movie. This problem was solved with the launch of WPanorama. As the name states, this program allows you to create beautiful panoramas easily, from your digital camera photos.

WPanorama has no problem installing, even on older systems, as the hardware requirements are low and so is the hard disk occupied by the program's folder. Any Windows version can be used for running the program.

The interface of WPanorama is no eye candy, but it's practical and simple to use, featuring some graphical buttons for accessing the program's functions, but also the well known drop-down menu. The user just needs to load a panoramic image into the program. When launched for the first time, WPanorama displays a sample panoramic photo, scrolling from left to right. One can customize the scrolling direction and speed.

The user can customize the size of the image being scrolled and also the position of the window on the screen, by using the program's graphical buttons. WPanorama allows the user to capture running panoramas and saving them as graphical images, at a set interval of time.

Panoramas can be saved as AVi video files, using various quality settings and also as a screensaver.

Pros

It can display any panoramic image as an actual video. Besides that, it allows customizing the scrolling speed and direction. Furthermore, panoramas can be saved as video files or as screensavers, using various settings.

Cons

The program can display panoramic images and cannot stick them together, in case the user has more images, instead of a larger one. WPanorama is the perfect viewer for any panoramic images, bringing them to life.
